Sean Sheffey

Reformed wildman, turned focused badass to get back on the road to rippin.

Sean is a born fighter who’s battles have changed their face many times over the years. In his early days he gave up boxing for the independent creativity of skateboarding and went on to become one of the legends who defined what modern skateboarding is today. But Sean’s greatest triumph is a more personal one. After a debilitating knee injury at the peak of his career, Sheffey’s subsequent time off the board gave way to a take-down of substance abuse, violence, loss of sponsors and eventually prison. When released Sean didn’t even own a skateboard anymore, but the time had set him in a new direction. With support from Jake Brown and other Hommies who stuck by him, Sheff is set on a strict self-imposed regiment, determined to fight his way back into pro skating.
